15/1-10 Next stop: New York

Good news today.
A few months back we designed a concept for a game about Human Right and Diversity, as a task form a course in school. We called this hypothetical game Humaniora Online. It’s a massive multiplayer online game that focuses on player interaction, where the players walk around in the world fulfilling each other’s human rights. It was made clear during the beginning of the human rights course that the best game concept would go to right in to the Big Apple and show it to Important People across the pond. And guess what? That’s us!

This fall, the Lucid Dream team is going New York.

28/11-09 Lucid DreamHack

DreamHack.se

It was merely a few hours before we left our headquarters in Visby we learned that we should go to DreamHack in Jönköping to display Walkabout. These new came completely out of the blue, but we managed to get the whole team together and ready to go, and now we are - unintentionally, accidentally - in the middle of the biggest gathering of nerds on the planet.

18/11-09 Once again, in production

As of now, Lucid Dreams is officially in production of our next game: Midnight. We have three new recruits; awesome 3D-artists to produce models for an environment and twelve different characters.

14/9-09 We meet again!

Today all the myths came true and Lucid Dreams had finally the meeting we have been planning for weeks. Basically we discussed what we are going to do this coming semester.
Here are the results:
We will continue to work with Walkabout, and we are aiming at a release for PC and iPod by Christmas.
Alongside, we will also start working on secret, new project.

26/8-09 Our journy to Germany

We have now survived a trip to Cologne and Gamescom. With 245.000 visitors they are the biggest games trade fair in Europe, and it was indeed an insane amount of people there. A more detailed account of our adventures and mishaps can be found in our blog.

11/8-09 We're online!

You are looking at the brand new website of Lucid Dreams studios.

A few months has passed since our success at Gotland Game Awards, and it is now time to take up this project again. The launching of this site is one step in the preparations for our trip to Germany, Cologne and the Game Developers Conference (GDC).

If you are looking for Walkabout’s website it can now be found at www.walkabout.rindi.com/walkabout

5/6-09 Great success at the GGA
Gotland Game Awards 2009 is now over. Many people played Walkabout, and enjoyed it almost as much as we ourselves enjoyed the whole circus. These two interesting days ended with a fabulous award ceremony and even more happiness when our own game "Walkabout" won the Pwnage Award – that is Best Game of the Year! Hooray for us!
